Measles Rubella Protected


To be a part of Global efforts in eliminating the risk of measles and to control rubella/ congenital rubella syndrome in young kids, aged between 9 months to 15 years, MR Vaccination campaign, aiming to cover 41 crores children, is being run by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.  

 In an effort knock out this disease and build up immunity in kids, all the children studying  in schools are to be covered as well.

Measles-Rubella Vaccination Camp Held at Akal Academy Gomti
Initiated by Health and Family Welfare Ministry Govt. of India and District Health Department Pilibhit U.P., a day-long Measles- Rubella Vaccination Camp was organized at Akal Academy Gomtipul on 26 November 2018. 


Smt. Ranjana Jauhari, Ms. Oreeti, Mrs. Charanjeet Kaur, Mrs. Sarla Mishra, Mrs. Sangeeta and Asha workers helped in carrying all activities.


The school staff Mr. Bhupinder Singh, Mr. Daljeet Singh, Mrs. Karampal Kaur, Mrs. Harjinder Kaur, and Mr. Somdev contributed a lot to make this programme a success.
Mr. Ashok Singh Guleria thanked the staff Health workers and Parents for their contribution.

Bathinda Poem Recitation Akal Academy schools provides their students many opportunities to hone their talent and develop a variety of skills.  The school curriculum and activity calendar is planned to encourage extensive participation of students in various competition throughout the year. An Inter-House Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition was held for students. Children recited the selected poems with enthusiasm and fervor, displaying confidence and skill. The competition was judged on the basis of creativity, pronunciation, overall presentation and speech clarity. Principal applauded the effort of the performers. All in all, it was a great learning experience for all!
