#AkalAcademyNawanQuilla's #TinyTots field visit to Hospital



Akal Academy, Nawan Quilla is one among the chain of 129 co-educational English medium low-cost CBSE affiliated public schools, situated 30 km from Ferozpur Distt. of Punjab. Students here are mostly from the deprived sections of society, admitted regardless of their socio-economic status or religion.

These Academies aim to provide world-class education to these rural kids with the help of modern equipment like Smart Classrooms, Computers, Library, etc. For overall development, these kids are encouraged to participate in the sports of their interest and also prompted to explore and express themselves through Music, Drawing/ Painting or through Gardening.

One such initiative of this academy was to give their tiny tots information about the tools being used by doctors to treat their patients, which these kids might have seen in their general life but were not aware of their use.


Curious Nursery and K.G. students are keenly observing the most common tools used by doctors to treat common ailments.


God knows, who might get inspired to become a doctor with a wish to treat patients in his/her future.


Teachers are answering all the odd questions they might have had during this trip.


Happy kids are returning to their school after their field trip with loads of stories to tell to their parents.

Little buds blooming

Bathinda Poem Recitation Akal Academy schools provides their students many opportunities to hone their talent and develop a variety of skills.  The school curriculum and activity calendar is planned to encourage extensive participation of students in various competition throughout the year. An Inter-House Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition was held for students. Children recited the selected poems with enthusiasm and fervor, displaying confidence and skill. The competition was judged on the basis of creativity, pronunciation, overall presentation and speech clarity. Principal applauded the effort of the performers. All in all, it was a great learning experience for all!
